Thank you Paul. I first met Shelley in 2017 when I visited Texas from Australia. I visited again in 2023 and we exchanged phone numbers. I would call her every month or so. It was nice to discuss her career but also to be able to support her in her final months. I phoned her on her 75th birthday and told her I would be visiting her later that month. Sadly she passed before I got to Texas but I’m glad she knew I was coming. My last words to her were “goodbye Shelley, I love you”. I’m glad I got to meet and know her.
