Boog really was magnificent. He followed my script to a tee. He was funny and did a great job playing it straight. The background at the PNC ballpark where the Cubs were playing was fantastic. I know my brother who is a huge fan is going to love it for his 60th birthday next week. Being a Cub announcer is very special. The tradition for me dates back to Jack Brickhouse and includes Steve Stone, Harry Caray and a host of others. Boog has done a great job honoring that tradition.
