A: Cameo is a marketplace where users can receive personalized video shoutouts from their favorite people. Our mission is to create the most authentic and memorable fan experiences in the world.

Q: What types of Cameos can I get?

A: Cameos are the perfect gift for any occasion! Want to wish your best friend a happy birthday? Roast your buddy’s fantasy team? Motivate your son or daughter to play hard at their upcoming game? Hype up an upcoming event? As long as the request is appropriate, talent will be excited to do your Cameo and better connect with you as a fan!

Q: Do I get to keep my Cameo?

A: Of course! Download your Cameo, share it across your social media pages and save it for life!


BOOKING A CAMEO

Q: How do I book a Cameo?

A: You can find all our talent on our Website! Search our categories, pick your talent, fill our who it’s for, write your request and you’re good to go!

Q: Are there any rules for Cameo requests?

A: No rules! We like to keep Cameos as authentic to our talent as possible but please be appropriate and kind.

Note: In some cases your Cameo request will be rejected if it is inappropriate, explicit or will damage the talent’s image.


GETTING A CAMEO

Q: How will I receive my Cameo once it’s completed?

A: Once your Cameo has been completed, your Cameo be sent to the email or number that you provided when you ordered. Woohoo!

Q: How do I download my Cameo?

A: Just click on the Cameo link on your laptop/desktop and use the little blue download button next to the video! It’s as easy as pie.

Q: How long will my Cameo take to be completed?

A: Our talent usually turns around Cameos within a few days, but are given up to 7 days to fulfill your Cameo request. If they do not complete it in this time, your request will expire and your processing charge will be refunded. We know you’re excited and appreciate your patience!

Q: Is the talent guaranteed to make my Cameo?

A: We make it our top priority that every customer receives their Cameo. It is possible that your request could expire, but we try to manage our talent and requests to make sure that all Cameos are completed!

Q: Can I download and save my Cameo after I receive it?

A: Once your Cameo has been emailed to you, you can download it onto your computer via the little blue button next to the video! We love seeing your Cameos so once you have downloaded it, feel free to upload it to your Facebook (@cameo), Instagram (@cameo), Twitter (@bookcameo), etc. and tag us!

Q: Can I update my request after I already booked?

A: Once you receive your confirmation email, you will be able to edit or cancel your order request at anytime via the link at the bottom of the email.

Q: I see my Cameo on the website, but haven’t received it.

A: All Cameos that appear on our site have been sent to the email you provided when you booked your Cameo. Please check your Spam or search your email. If you still can’t find it, please send us your order number and the email address you provided when booking to hello@cameo.com.

Q: Can I have a reaction video featured on Cameo?

A: Absolutely - we love seeing reactions! We’ll feature great reaction videos on our homepage, social media pages (@cameo / @bookcameo (tw)) and our newsletter. Make sure to send them to hello@cameo.com.


PAYMENTS

Q: How much is a Cameo?

A: The cost of a Cameo is set individually by our talent, and therefore the price will range depending on who you are requesting! Talent can change their price at anytime but you will only be charged the price you booked it for :)

Q: When will my credit/debit card be charged?

A: Cameo will put a hold on your credit/debit card as an authorization until the order is completed. In the event of a cancellation/decline/expiration, the charge will be released and you will see the charge disappear off your bank statement.

Q: I have already been charged, but haven’t received my Cameo?

A: If you haven’t received your Cameo yet, we’ve only put a pre-authorization hold on your credit card to ensure funds are available for when talent fulfills your Cameo request.

Q: How do I join Cameo?

A: We’re excited you’re asking! To join, simly sign in via instagram on the iOS or Google Play App! If you don’t have instagram, fill out your details here and we will be in touch: https://www.cameo.com/enroll

Q: Can I do Cameos for charity?

A: Absolutely! We’ve found Cameos are a great way to fundraise! A number of people on Cameo have their funds sent to the charity of their choice. You can check them out in the “For Charity” category.

Q: How time consuming is doing a Cameo?

A: On average, it takes about 30 seconds but it’s completely up to you!

Q: What is the revenue split?

A: All of our talent on Cameo is on the exact same revenue split. 75% talent’s way, with 25% going to Cameo. We handle all payment and processing. In order to be fair to all of our talent, this is a non-negotiable rate.

Q: How is the price determined?

A: Talent sets their own price and can change it at any time!

Q: How can I make more money on Cameo?

A: We see an average of 700%+ increase in bookings when talent lets their fans know that they’re on Cameo! An Instagram post, a swipe up on your Instagram story, Tweet, Facebook post, or mention/link on your Youtube or Musical.ly channel is a great way to significantly increase your bookings!

Q: Can I refer Talent to Cameo and get paid?

A: Absolutely! We have a Talent-to-Talent Referral Program where you’ll receive 5% of the bookings of anyone you refer, for a full year! The 5% is taken out of Cameo’s cut. The more talent you refer, the more passive income you’ll generate!

Q: What type of talent are you looking to have on Cameo?

A: We’re always looking for great talent that wants to better engage with their fanbase in a more personalized way, while creating moments that inspire for their fans!

Q: Will Cameo promote talent joining the platform?

A: Yes, we often promote our talent joining across our social media pages. However, we leave it up to talent to let their fans know that they’re active on Cameo! The best way to do this is with a mention on your favorite social channels.

Q: Are there costs associated with joining Cameo?

A: Nope. We handle all payment and processing fees for you!

Q: Is there any obligation to joining Cameo?

A: There is no obligation and you can leave the site at any time. However, our only ask is that you always complete Cameo requests to ensure the best possible fan experience.

Q: Is it possible to pause requests if I am traveling or busy?

A: Yes, you can make yourself temporarily unavailable, though please remember that you have 7 days to complete Cameo requests and because of the ease of our technology, you can do them from anywhere!

Q: Can you decline Cameo requests?

A: Yes. You can accept or decline any request that you don’t feel comfortable doing. You can also report requests in which case we may block an individual from requesting again.

Q: Will fans know my contact information if I do a Cameo?

A: No - we’re your middle man! It's important to us that we keep your personal information safe & secure.

Q: How do I get paid?

A: Money will be deposited in your account daily on a 2-day rolling basis. You can set up your banking via the app!

Q: What if I feel bad about charging my fans?

A: About 90% of Cameos are purchased as gifts for your biggest fans! You’re simply providing your fans with currently unobtainable moments that inspire, while monetizing your DMs.
